THE FOLLOWING OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE AT OUR KZN SANDS OPERATION LOCATED IN EMPANGENI AND MTUNZINL KWAZULU NATAL /SOUTH AFRICAN CITIZENS ONLY).
The following documentation should accompany your application:

TECHNICIAN IN TRAINING (WORK EXPERIENCE LEARNERSHIPS)
These are temporary positions for a period of one (1) year
Applications are invited for Engineering internship. Tronox KZN Sands Is looking for dynamic, self-motivated individuals with the necessary technical ability and the intention to enter into a Learnership for the following disciplines:
- Electrical Heavy Current
- Electrical Process Instrumentation
- Mechanical
Primary purpose: To undergo an intensive development programme that will result in developing your personal competence as Technician in Training in completion of P1 and P2 as part of the National Diploma requirement.
Who can apply?
Candicates who have a:
- Complete S4 in above mentioned disciplin (Compulsory) and
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science (Compulsory) and
- Valid Driver’s Lisence.
APPRENTICESHIPS
These are temporary positions for a period of three (3) years
Applications are invited for Engineering Learnerships. Tronox KZN Sands Is looking for dynamic, self-motivated individuals with the necessary technical ability and the intention to enter into a Learnership for the following disciplines:
- Electric
- Instrumentation Mechanician
- Fitter
- Boilermaker
- Millwright
Primary purpose: To undergo an intensive development programme that will result in developing your personal competence as an Apprentice.
Who can apply?
Candicates who have a:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science (Compulsory) and
- A Trade Theory subject in the chosen discipline (Compulsory) and
- Valid Driver, Licence (Compulsory).
NOTE: Pre – screening psychometric evaluation may form part of the selection process. Please note that appointments well be made in accordance with Tronox Employment Equity Policy.
Successfull applicants will be required to undergo a medical assessment.
