Shell Downstream South Africa in collaboration with SAPREF invites applications from the local community for the 2019 learning opportunities listed below. SAPREF is situated in Durban South and is home to some of South Africa’s top petrochemical professionals.

SHELL DOWNSTREAM SOUTH AFRICA IS OFFERING AN APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITY FOR 2019 IN THE FOLLOWING FIELDS OF STUDY
Mechanical Fitting Apprenticeship | Electrical Apprenticeship | Instrument Apprenticeship

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • South African citizenship
  • Grade 12 Mathematics and Physical Science results or equivalent
  • Applicant will be required to undergo a series of assessments as part of the selection.

PROCESS selection will be based primarily an academic merit. However, we are looking for well rounded individuals who demonstrate potential to excel in other areas of their lives. Performance will be given to designed youths between the age of 21 and 35 years, preferabaly from rural Kwazulu-Natal.
