Do you have a good understanding of the Accounting function, with the ability to manage insurance claims, credit cards and related functions within our Finance Department? Do you have the necessary skills to manage bank reconciliation and related functions?

mrp , the largest trading division of the Mr Price Group is recruiting for an experienced and deadline oriented Admin Clerk.

Your role would include some of the following key responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the administration and reconciliation of company business cards
  • Assisting with the administration and reconciliation of company vehicles
  • Company insurance claims
  • Motor vehicle insurance administration
  • Communicating discrepancies to relevant divisions and insurers
  • General office administration and adhoc duties.

The minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12 and preferably a Finance / Accounting diploma or degree
  • 2 – 3 years’ relevant experience
  • Proficiency in the use of either Microsoft Dynamics AX ( DAX ) or with other relevant computerised accounting systems/applications as well as MS Office (particularly Excel)
  • A general understanding of the accounting function
  • Ability to work after hours when necessary
